In continuing my experimentation with film and slightly longer exposures, I decided to do some work later in the day around dusk and early evening.

Portfolio review in Paris

One of the activities on our recent face-to-face trip to Paris was the opportunity to participate in portfolio reviews. These were done in small groups of around 8 students with two tutors.

Continuing motion work

In continuing to work on motion and people, I’ve been making images around London. I have continued taking them from a height, and trying to find simpler paving/flooring to act as the background.

First motion shots feedback

The images that I discussed in Initial Abstract Work were shown at a webinar in week 3. I wanted to get responses to the different types of images, as I find feedback really helpful in terms of defining the work and determining its direction, both in terms of meaning and in terms of the images I am creating and how I am doing that.

Initial abstract work

Though the work I did based around miniature bodies interacting with objects was interesting, I felt that it did not have enough depth to be my main work for this module. Instead I decided to try an area that has interested me for a while, abstract photography.
